Why Haiti?
The Averyday Ministries is an organization dedicated to providing a home for at risk girls in Haiti. The home for girls was dreamed about by Avery. Shortly after Avery’s passing away, her mother took up this dream and shared the desire to make a family home where girls, that are at risk within our community, can live in a loving nurturing environment.
Love for Haiti
Do you know that young girls with little or no education are more likely to have children and be victims of domestic violence. About 70 percent of women in Haiti have been victims of gender-based domestic violence.
- Language – French and Haitian Creole.
- Food – The Haitian diet is made up of the local vegetables and fruits, along with some spicy meat dishes.
